Parental Forum Meeting

Following the publication of our latest Ofsted report on Monday 9th September 2019, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents/carers who have taken their time to read the report, share their thoughts and express their support to us.

Whilst the Ofsted report recognised that the changes we have already made are generating a positive impact, we know that there are still key areas where we need to improve further. A great deal of hard work has already gone into, and continues to go into these areas, which is testament to our strong school community and your ongoing support in helping us to raise standards and drive outcomes.

We are holding a parental forum meeting on Wednesday 18th September 2019 at 5pm, where myself and the senior leadership team will be setting out our action plan, following the report, to continue to drive forward these improvements, and the required changes identified by Ofsted. I would encourage all parents/carers who would like to discuss the report, share their views, and help shape our plans going forward, to attend this meeting.

We are confident that our academy, with the support of pupils, parents/carers, and the local community, will continue on an upward trajectory following the targeted improvements taking place.

I look forward to meeting with you all next week.

Mr Richard Hanson

Principal of Queensbury Academy
