We are fully committed to ensuring each student achieves their potential
The success of the school is down to the hard work and relationship between students, parents, staff, governors and stakeholders.
Year 7 Parents and Carers our Y7 'Settling in Evening' will be held on Wednesday 21st October 2020 and is an opportunity for you to make an appointment to discuss your child's transition to Queensbury Academy with their GS Tutor. Please look out for the letter appearing on our website in the coming days with details about how to make an appointment.
Our Year 6 into 7 Open Evening on September 22nd was not able to take place due to COVID-19 restrictions. We have uploaded a virtual tour of the Academy for new parents, carers and prospective pupils. The virtual tour will enable you to learn more about us and the subjects we teach. If you have a question, which you would like answering, please send it to; Office@qa.fetrust.org.uk, follow us on Twitter @qburyschool for regular updates and links to the site.
As Principal of Queensbury Academy, I extend a very warm welcome to our website and hope it gives you a flavour of what life at our school is like.
Our job as a school is to help each and every young person discover and unlock their unique talents. This unshakeable belief drives our uncompromising pursuit of educational excellence. We expect our parents/carers to play an active part in pursuit of this educational excellence by attending parents’ evening, curriculum guidance evenings, pastoral evenings and pupil review meetings, as well as ensuring that homework is completed on time and to the best standard.
Telephone consultations with parents and carers for our new Y7 pupils have taken place today to see how well they are all settling in! Well done year 7 on a fabulous start to the year. #alwayslearning
